Drew Holiday praises Zion Williamson`s potential. The two-time NBA champion crossed paths with the New Orleans forward in his first year in the league.
He is one of the most gifted basketball players I have ever seen. I don`t know if they need to better tailor the team around him or if he needs to get out there and find his place next to someone else. But he definitely needs a change.
If I were his coach, I would motivate him to play defense. This is not a criticism of him. It would simply allow him to reach a level appropriate to his talent.
In attack, everything is fine with him. He remains promising.
If he set goals for himself on defense and his teammates saw that, I think they would follow him. I`ve seen it happen with Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.
